We picked this book for our book club theme of Pulitzer Prize Winning Books, and I wasn't sure about it. The other ladies in my club did not care for it, however, after finishing it and letting it "digest" a little bit, I found that I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed the writing style, as it made the ending more exciting for me. While I will admit that it was a little hard to get started, it is a beautifully written book, that requires time to read it.
