I loved the beginning of this book but thought by the time they got to the actual Games it fell way flat. I had quite the opposite opinion of the first book of the series. I could barely get through the first 100 pages but once Katniss got into the arena I, like most of the country could not put the book down.

I got really really boring at times but overall a great book, it leads you into the third one. It has a really really interesting plot line though. Suzanne Collins has a very creative style of writing and brilliant ideas and i'm glad she got so famous, she deserves it! she works really hard and has great characters.
