Och eh?
well - Don't take my two star rating to seriously, truth is i abandoned this at around 5% after finding it very slow, i was partially encouraged to do this by the paragraph where the main character explains that she likes to rub moisturizing lotion onto her face before it evaporates into her hands.well damn it! i said out loud as i punched the sky, YES YES YES! now that was really what i wanted to read about when i picked up an historic action book called highlander, just fascinating!

I enjoyed this book, but it got the point where I was thinking "Why isn't this over yet?" The amount of trouble/problems the main character is able to cause in such a sort span of time started to become a little boring/repetative, and I lost my interest around page 500. There were parts where I was certainly hooked and enjoyed what I was reading, but I think I'm not going to immediately jump into the second story in the series. I need to have a lot of time/energy to get through another 800 pages

I really liked the story and the characters. There was too much "spice" in it for me, but I was able to skip ahead. I would have liked it much better if she just relied on her great story telling and characters to sell the book.

The third star I gave to this book was only because of the amazing audio recording narrated by Davina Porter.
