I have now read this book 5 times and I still love it and recommend it to anyone who likes a good historical/time-travel/love story/big old chunkster! Seriously, this is the fastest 850 pages I've ever read. I never get tired of this series.
Jamie and Claire are still hot. I still love Gabaldon's writing style.

I really wanted to care, but didn't. I have nothing against this book per se - it's reasonably well written, with dimensional characters and and interesting premise - and have agreed to at least give the TV show a try, but . . . I find Claire to be too reactionary as a heroine to really be my cup of tea. I will add links to the book club discussions once they're posted, as The Katies liked this more than I did, and have differing points of view on certain matters.
