Early Beta Review 2/21/12
Wow, what an amazing journey into a completely unique world. This Dystopian/Urban Fantasy Novel stole my breath. Journey under the earth’s crust after post apocalypse into the tri-realms for an emotional adventure ready to sweep you into it.
Adele is a 17 year old girl sentenced to life in prison because her father dared to question their unfair existence. For six months she has held her own in the juvenile detention center while waiting for her 18th birthday only to be ...more

Humans live underground after devastation on the Earth's service. There are three decending layers - each a separate realm but ruled by the Sun Dwellers. What starts as a glace between two people -- Tristan (son of the Ruler of the Sun Realm who is a despot) and Adele (prisoner in the Moon Realm after her parents were branded treasonus), turns into much much more.
Full of battles and strong characters with bigger social implications, the story is very strong told alternately from tristan and Ade ...more

It is engrossing-I could not set it aside. Set underground, centuries after toxicity ruined the Earth’s surface, there are three realms: Sun Dweller, Moon Dweller, Star Dweller. The Star realm is the worst, the deepest undergroun

I think the best word to describe this book is mind blowing. This is my second book by David Estes I've read, the first one being Angel Evolution, which I thought was good, but not ah-may-zing. However, The Moon Dwellers pretty much blew me away.
The best part about this book is probably the protagonist, Adele, and the kick-ass action in the plot. The book was definitely exciting from the start, and although Adele had some inner vulnerabilities, she remained an amazingly strong character through ...more

At first it took me a little while to get into it but once I did MAN did I fricken love it! It's quite an original tale with good humor to balance the tragedies and chaos. At first I wondered if it would be like that one movie . . . Ember? But it's nothing like it. There were many unseen twist and turns in both's parties journeys. And I like that every ones main weapons are swords and the hand to hand combat. I also really like the Adele. She is quick in battle and strong. I can't wait till the
