It's a typical Susane Colasanti work. Realistic. Well-written.
It's what I've come to expect from Susane Colasanti's books --> something that makes you think, "I can relate." "That's totally how I feel" or just "I understand" and "I can see why.."

I love Susane Colasanti's books because they are short, sweet, and have a good message to learn. This was one of them and I really liked it. It was cute and easy to read and follow. The plot was simple but had the amazing setting of New York City as the background and it gave it a magical feel to it. It made it feel like I was there following Brooke as she explored her new home. Brooke was a pretty good character. I liked her more towards the end when she started finding out who she really was.
