ACTUAL RATING: 4.5

This is my second book by this author and it was really good. I have been wanting to read this book ever since I saw it on Goodreads and read about it on the author's blog. I was really excited it when I found it at the library. It did not disappoint me. It taught a great lesson, had a nice plot, relate able characters, and more. The plot was great and I could relate to it easily. Noelle is bullied constantly and doesn't get a lot of attention from her neglectful mother. I coul

Keep holding on by Susane Colasanti is about Noelle, who is having a terrible time at home with a neglectful mother and on top of that she has to go to school every day and face a bunch of bullies that keep her down.
The plot is unfortunately a real problem that teenagers have been facing for a long time, some of them just at home, while others at school. Only a few get to deal with both at the same time. The story is, as all Susane's stories, very well crafted. I loved the characters very much,

I love susane colasanti's books! and this was no exception. This book is about a girl named Noel and she has a rough life. Her mother barely provides anything that she can live off, and at school she is picked on constantly. The whole entire book I was just waiting for her to stand up for herself and feel better about herself. I wish her project that she is working on would have been more talked about it and gaven more empowerment to people who might be in the same situation or similar as Noel. ...more

I will be recommending this book to my students! The main character, Noelle, has to deal with bullying and discrimination. These are very sensitive issues.

I loved this book! I loved how most of the book focused on bullying and other problems that teens deal with, but it also had romance.
