What Members Thought
I liked it. It's kind of slow going at first to get into the story and figure out who the characters are in the different time frames the stories jumps between. It is a book very much driven on character, in fact the plot is entirely based on character and personal history of the characters in the story. If you are interested in personal histories and genealogy, I imagine you probably love this book. My interest was sparked with the mention of prominent artist John Singer Sargent.
