The art in this particular edition (ISBN 0-15-100217-7) is amazing; it brings to life the intensity the story truly has.

The whole story is kind of creepy--with animals talking and writing and such. It gets pretty crazy in the end (but I won't give it away). I find Squealer amusing. The way he talks is actually funny to me. There were some quotes I liked. These are some of them:

This book may initially feel like a folktale or a fairy tale, but upon further inspection and evaluation, Animal Farm screams out policial retoric. It is important to note that Animal Farm was originally published in 1946. In the beginning, Major, the old wise pig, has a dream in which there is no more master or human owners.
