Such a great story! Amazing characters and well told.
I could never have lived as a a woman back then. I would have gotten myself into too much trouble with my independant streak and sarcastic wit. HA HA
This book is a guilty pleasure. It's not perfect; Jane Austen has a tendency to overstate her point and her novels always leave the reader juggling at least 20 characters (confusing). But the book is irresistibly romantic.
I especially love the frustration that the book evokes in the reader, as the two main characters (Darcy & Elizabeth) stumble through misunderstanding after misunderstanding. It really helps to build the sexual tension before their inevitable union.

A true classic. Pride and Prejudice is a story that is often talked about (snippets in movies, versions of movies, etc.). To truly appreciate Pride and Prejudice, one needs to sit down for periods at a time and enjoy the language and theme.
I love this book so much, and this is the first austen's i read, and no one could forget the witty Elizabeth Bennet and the arrogant Mr Darcy of course. They're just perfect for each other.
