What starts out as a mystery as the 15 year old, Autistic, narrator Christopher tries to solve the mystery about who killed his neigbors dog. He begins to writtes about it in his journal or book. Becomes a story that uncovers other secrets into the family and neigbors life and the stresses of raising a child with autisum. In my opinion, extremely over-rated. Yes; it is a comparatively original idea, probably where most of its acclaim derives from, but I just found it difficult and there was no scope for endearment.
