I absolutely LOVED this book. It draws you in from the very first page. The concept is ingenious and the delivery is magical. The intricacies of the story really give it an added depth that you wont find in other novels. Both Clare and Henry are so well developed - you watch both of them grow up and see how the change and grow as characters. It makes you belive the impossible may just maybe be possible. HIGHLY recommended.

I'd like to think of this book as a journey I took with my favorite couple. I believe Clare was the vessel that made Henry a better man, and lost a little of herself in the process. As many women do they give and they wait on thier husbands and children to grow up and become the best they can be. I well miss them in my life. This book made my heart grow and soul soar. I read this book six years ago when it was first published, and it was hard to follow but I just loved the characters. Niffenegger sure knows how to manage her characters - almost as good as Geraldine Brooks, who, for my money, is the master. Lovely, lovely book. Can't wait to see Eric Bana and Rachel Mc ...more

A great concept that the writer carries out superbly - she obviously spent a great amount of time in getting this novel to flow flawlessly and considering the different situations and difficults presented by time travel, many of which had never occured to me.

I would recommend this to anybody.

I loved this book. From the beginning I was drawn in and remained completely intrigued throughout the book. At first it was a little difficult to wrap my head around the time-travel concept, but after I got that, I couldn't put the book down. It was well written, interesting, stimulating and a wonderful, unique love story. ...more
