From the first few paragraphs I was hooked. I was nearly 200 pages in before I even thought about getting myself a drink and making myself comfortable. A few sleepless nights later and I was back from this strange journey.
This story is absolutely lovely and will make you cry more than you thought possible. It's part sci-fi and part love story and I highly recommend it for fans of either genre.

I Did NOT like this book; only read it half way through; so it probably should not be on my 'read' list. There should be a shelf for the books you were excited to read, expected too much, and were totally disappointed in. I was intrigued with the time traveling aspect, it was a good concept, but I read and read hoping to get to a point where I actually cared about Henry and Clare. Never reached that point, and I gave them plenty of chances. The language is quite bad which I can overlook for a fa

Please tell me I'm not the only one that didn't like this book...!
I'm usually a bit sceptically to very popular books, so I've had this in my shelf for over a year, waiting for me. And I really thought it should be a wonderful read, and I was so excited to read this book. I mean, there is a movie made from it - it has to be good, right??

This book was decent, but not really my thing. The plot was extremely flat. There were no real twists or surprises or anything like that. Just good old-fashion story telling. The love story was nice, but Henry's time with Alba is what really hit home for me. I applaud the author for coming up with the whole time-travel thing. It was executed superbly, when it just as easily could have been a silly gimmick.
