Here’s one biblical and historical fiction fans will love. “Forgotten Followers: From Broken to Bold,” follows the lives of four women who travelled with Jesus, women who were his disciples, women who had problems and trauma they struggled to overcome. I loved Elaine Ricker Kelly’s portrayal of Jesus and the way she brought biblical events to life through fresh and non-stereotypical eyes. The book was impressively researched and beautifully written.
