The government has always had great power over its citizens everywhere around the world. This is proven in an inhuman way in the intriguing book Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. The government along with the main character, Guy Montag--a firemen, have a big goal in common. The goal of limiting the knowledge to mankind. As Albert Einstein once expressed "knowledge is power," the government in this novel was very well aware of this so they made reading and even being in possession of books illegal.
