Gripping and harrowing, it's every parent's worst nightmare, but Anna carries forward like a woman possessed. She wins us over early on and never loses our empathy or attention. Wow! You know a book is really good when you finish it and you want to go hang out with some of the characters (not all of them, mind you :).

Love the descriptions of locations and the develpoment of characters - felt like I was part of the story.
