I wouldn't say I was disappointed, because the book is excellent, but it isn't something I've expected. What I expected was an analysis into this infamous mass murder, but what I got was a detailed, entertaining psychological study of real life psychopaths. Capote didn't highlight much of the crime, the entirety of the book consists of the narratives revolving around the case.
