Fantastic! I loved the thorough world-building most of all. Sky and it's people felt so rich and complete, I can't wait to dive into the next books for more of them.
I usually prefer a lighter tone, and at first Yeine's total seriousness dragged me down, but once I settled into the overall setting and accepted that no one could be trusted, I was able to flow along with it and enjoy the story.
Beautiful writing and so refreshing to read something so woman-centric. ...more
