Undoubtedly one of the finest books I have ever read; clear writing about an engaging topic. Our current political environment has much to learn from the lessons laid out by Lincoln and his compatriots.
Really enjoyed the latter half of the book. Great insight to the personalities in the President's cabinet, and the emotional intelligence of Mr. Lincoln.

Excellent, mostly clear biography of Lincoln and his world. Though a little too detailed, it was pretty thrilling throughout; even knowing the ending.
