I hated almost everybody in this book (Quentin sucks so bad) and the ending in Fillory was so horribly written. Writing magical fight scenes is apparently not a talent everybody has. That said I may still consider reading the rest of the trilogy as a hate read.

The more I think about this book the more I dislike it. Took off a star because even thinking about most of these characters makes me upset. I have absolutely no desire to read anything else from this series, because he can only do more horrible things to the 1-2 characters that I find interesting. I don't think characters have to be likable, but if they're uninteresting and unlikable then why am I reading this book?

This book is like Harry Potter if you take out everything that makes Harry Potter even remotely enjoyable and replace it with curse words and oral sex.
