A high school favorite. I haven't reread it since maybe 2010 but I knew exactly which parts of the miniseries were direct quotes.

2019 review: Interesting reading this 10 years later how my opinion of the way the book ends changed. I was actually moved by it this time. Very finely crafted novel, though the footnotes bothered me more this time.
2009 review: Loads of fun for another end of the world story. Great characters, terrific discourse on good vs evil, God vs Satan, and what really is the point of all that discourse anyway! A little pat in its conclusion, but highly entertaining reading all the way.
