This book was very good but unlike many I would not call it great. I think Stockett actually made an error by focusing so much on Ms. Skeeter and should have spent more time exploring the point of view of the help. Frankly, I'd even have been more interested in her exploring Celia's or Skeeter's points of view if she was intent on giving a large portion of the book over to a white perspective.

I loved this book. I'd avoided it for a long time but once i started reading I couldn't stop. The characters are all engaging and well rounded. I well probably read this again one day.
