I heard such great things about this book, and was really excited to read it. I haven't read a ton of fiction, so I don't have much to compare it to.
I thought the plot was absolutely brilliant. It was dark, twisted, and mean. I love hated it.
I loved the structure of the book, varying view points and place in time with each chapter, going back and forth between the two main characters: Nick (present) and Amy (diary entries, in chronological order) until they meet in time.

Pretty much unputdownable, this one. Flynn's grimly believable portrayal of married life in the new century will have you eyeing your partner with suspicion. Bang on description of the problem of trying to keep on playing the cool girl as you bite back rage and disappointment while the recession wipes out your career, your trust fund and your marriage. The solution presented at makes me happy I'm single. Highly recommend.

I now see why everyone has been talking about this book. Great, yet disturbing, read. I'll be on the lookout for Flynn's other books now.
