Reading things like this make me think anyone can become a bestselling, insanely rich author, which is probably the only uplifting thing I can say about this novel. I'm sure it was an amazing fanfic, but it really, really didn't need to be published. Then again, if other people truly are enjoying it... who am I to complain?

Fifty Shades of Grey was not well written, hella repetitive, and full of clichés but I'd be lying if I said I didn't get absolutely sucked into it. Welp, I finally read it. It was trite, completely irrational, everyone once in awhile there was a pithy dialog exchange. The premise was completely unrealistic. The porn stuff was okay. I don't see what the big deal is about, but if it gets people reading...
