What Members Thought
Munro’s elegant prose has been lauded with “big prizes” as her career progressed and reputation was established, and I get that...a well deserving honoree for sure. Her talent is readily apparent. That said, my take on Dear Life is more one of respect than adoration. This compilation brings to my mind’s eye a commute across suburbarural Canada - back and forth, back and forth, and back and forth from mundane to maudlin.
