After two weeks of reading three or four pages at a time, I have decided to give up and admit defeat.

The other two Robert Langdon books have been interesting, with interesting topics and great locales. Having never lived in either Italy or France for any amount of time, however, maybe the great locales aren't quite as great as I thought while fascinatedly reading about the Illuminati or the Holy Grail.

This book was awful, but I kept going anyway. I think what really bothered me, aside from DC's portrayal, was that the things that were supposed to be shocking national security issues were... not. You're not scared if you don't think it's so bad if everyone doesn't succeed. ...more
