Delightful prose with tears-in-the-eyes stories.

He asked your name and said Akunna was pretty.

Extra-virgin olive oil was the only thing you loved, truly loved, in America.

While I did enjoy this I couldn't help but notice several similarities between the short stories and Americanah which I have read back to back. The stories are powerful and introduce a world I know very little about.
