What Members Thought
This book is beautiful, it’s humbling, it’s devastating, it’s art. Toni Morrison’s review of it says “This is required reading,” and I couldn’t agree more. Coates’ voice is unmistakably brilliant. I felt honored to get to read this. This is a classic, and I hope one day every classroom across the US has this as required reading.
Wow! This book really lived up to the hype. The writing is so powerful and it really deserves careful reading. I think Toni Morrison's quote on the back of the book says it best, "This is required reading."
