This was a pretty good book. Probably a 3.5 stars, not quite a 4 star. The pace was good and the characters, though despicable, were interesting and well developed. The ending I still find a bit puzzling, just a few of the details I thought were slightly untidy. Maybe I was just rushing through. Should be interesting to see how it translates to the screen.
This book started pretty slowly, but after about 40 pages in, it REALLY gripped me. I finished reading it in about 2 days. Great suspense!

I can't remember the last book that I read in four days. From the first pages, I was drawn in, and the story only got more interesting as it went along. I'm a wimp and can't handle suspense, so I had to skip ahead to find out how it ended. Great read!
