*sigh* What words can I use to express the silly giggles and glee that I feel when I see such a Bible. I half wonder if I can even keep it myself because I think of so many friends and family members that I know would absolutely love this Bible. The Thinline Bibles from Zondervan are all really great. Oh the harshness of live to have such a burden. HAH! My goodness, this is absolutely the cutest thing that I have ever seen! I am not a purse collector person, I get a good one and use it until it dies and reluctantly I'll give it up. I like to be very minimalistic when I'm out. For the longest time with a diaper bag I just carried the absolutely minimum (before two kids). This Bible Clutch is awesome!

I love the way this Bible feels in my hand. The size of this Bible is great to just grab, read and literally go. As a new mama, I'm already learning to be a busy mama and this Bible really is a great key to keeping a devotional outlook even if it is only a minute at a time. The font is awesome and one of my favorites, it is very attractive to the eye. There is no doubt that any mama would benefit from this "Busy Mom's Bible". My first love of the Busy Bible Series was the Busy Mom's Bible, and then I came to love the Busy New Mom's Bible and now I'm delighted to see they have come out with a Busy Family Bible. (Apparently there is also a Busy Dad's Bible and Busy Life Bible - but I have yet to see those). The entire series is also available as individual eBooks and with this digital world if you own an eReader - now there is no excuse! I'm pretty sure that one of the number one answers when you ask people if they have family devotions would be that they wish they could if only there was more time, more hours in the day. Now, while ideally we would all be able to carve out a good portion of time to spend in worship with our household - some days that just doesn't fit in as we wish. Now with this Bible as a great tool instead of skipping and wishing you hadn't fill your time that you do have with inspiration from one minute to ten minutes or more there are verse and devotional starting points that can delve deep into your hearts and bring your family closer to each other and closer to God.

Outside of the box/sleeve it just says Holy Bible on the spine, so only you know it's your special family Bible, but at the same time it can be used any time, because all the scripture is there. It is just that the devotionals added in the same way as the Busy Mom's Bible are directed toward family. I love the way this Bible feels in my hand. The size of this Bible is great to just grab, read and literally go. So many things that I said before I can repeat again with this Bible as well. The font is awesome and one of my favorites, it is very attractive to the eye.

I wouldn’t call this one a daily devotion Bible, but a through out the day devotion Bible. This is one to grab and have a minute with the Thought Starters, Word to Take With You Today, Reflect & Pray, and Study features.

Through out the pages there are 52 Thought Starters, so you could make this work as a year long devotion. Suggested verses to memorize make bringing the Bible devotion off the page and into your busy life. The feature element pages are full of whimsical coloring and great fun fonts and all around this is a very pretty Bible. In a New International Version translation with red-letter Christ text this is a fabulous daily inspiration for all mothers.

Other features include a thorough NIV Concordance, that helps take key words and bring the full text to organization when your brain just cannot remember it all. Then there is a great Study Index that shows topically the studies from the various sections, be it 1 minute, 5 minutes, or 10 minutes. There is also a list that contains five minute readings about Jesus to help you along the way and of course several pages of beautifully detailed maps to bring the area to life.

Is there anything that fits my personality, or my wardrobe for the matter, better than a lavender Bible? I mean have you seen my website? This has to be one of the most attractive little Bibles I have ever seen. The color is absolutely gorgeous. This one is the same size as my Lily Bible as well. This book is a must read every single day for me. I am lost without it. I read it, study it, and meditate on it. The words and their meaning give me strength , courage, they explain things to me that are unexplainable and fill my heart with peace. My personal belief is that by faith the message is revealed to those who seek to know God. Read it through the 2nd time 2010. Rabid atheists, wavering agnostics, humanists, evolutionists, are all human and privately all KNOW that they NEED what this and NO OTHER book offers. It is purchased and ignored. It is an ornament for display but not for application. Its most difficult maxim is not some obscure dietary law,nor is it abstinence from sex. It is that we should LOVE TO BE MERCIFUL TO THE WRONGDOER even though we do our best to do right and to walk humbly with our God. Micah 6:8.

I discovered my name was transcribed wrong in the index of the NIV Bible Across America, but it's no big deal, it's the same exact place alphabetically that it would have been. LOL (It's listed as Chinel, instead of Chind - but I totally can see how that could happen.)
