Well! The first time I settled to read this book, I managed 85 pages; the second time, I read the remaining 400 pages in one sitting-what does that tell you? I loved this book, its intensity, its complexity, its complications, its numerous threads and sub—threads, emotional confrontations, startling revelations-and I’m in for the series (and the Infernal Devices series as well!)

Reasons for Love

1. Jace. Enough said.

2. Interesting world. I like the demons, the shadowhunters and all the magical creatures. I thought it was unique.

3. It was freaking addicting. Plot holes, and flaws aside, you can't argue that this book is addicting. When you pick it up, you just keep reading, absorbed into the story.

This is so long!! And all happened in less than a month.. Come on?! -__-"
I liked the story and I might go and read the next book in the series to see what will happen..
It reminds me of Harry Potter series. Although I have only seen the movies. But this story has many details that just reminds me of it.

But what I hate is that:
Well, I'm shocked at the final detail in the end about the relation between Clary and Jace. And also I hate that it seems like everything is fine in the epilogue. I mean it ...more

I like my men just as I like my sloppy joe, hot and mysterious. thankyouverymuch!

"This was the original prologue for City of Bones. I had wanted to tell some of the story from Jace's point of view, but once I got further into the book I realized it would be better if we mainly saw him from Clary's perspective. It made him more mysterious and a mysterious character is always fun."
