I can't even describe how excited I am to read this book! It doesn't matter that judging from the synopsis, this is something I'd never pick up in a million years, were it not for the lady writing this book.

This book was not as bad as the main stream media had suggested. There were characters that had a multitude of problems that had been intertwined together in a unique construct. One character that irritated me was Kay, the social worker, Terri on the other hand, though somewhat dramatic in terms of construct was probably the only character with depth. Just finished reading J.K. Rowling's book "The Casual Vacancy". People please don't waste your time with this book. It was BORING and just seemed to ramble on and on. It wasn't until the last 25 % of the book that it had any chance of me not rating it a 1 out of 5 stars. Because of that I had to give it a 2 out of 5 stars.

I had no idea what this was about and would never have picked it up if it hadn't been selected as our book club book of the month. I really enjoyed it. The only things I didn't like about the book were 1. The difficulty in keeping track of all the different characters and 2. The use of the C word.....that was just too much for me!
