Can you imagine feeling broken inside and not be able to cry about it? Eureka doesn't cry, not for any reason. This was something her mother made sure she never did and the ability to hold it all in comes second nature to her. Never Ever Cry, that is what Eureka's mother tried to instill in her during her childhood. I feel like crying after wasting my time reading this. I had an extremely hard time getting into this book. For at least the first 150 pages it was boring, BORING AS HELL. For a brief time, it started to get interesting and I thought maybe I can get into this. Not much happened in this story. A girl meets stalker guy, a girl ends up holding the power to awaken an ancient city and girls evil stepmom has an untimely end. It's similar to other YA novels. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great; still, I would like to see were this story heads.
