Gah, another year wait for this book. When this series finally ends, I'm going to be 23. I bought the Mark of Athena the other day, and the woman in front of me was buying it for her middle school son. It made me feel so old. And the fact that I'm such a fan-girl for this series just makes me feel so creepy. Really Rick, why do you make me wait so long...

House of Hades

Definitely filled with lots of adventures and thrills, love and friendship. It definitely made me stick to the book a while and made me love it a lot.

Annabeth and Percy really made me get into the book while they were stuck under Tartarus. While the rest while stuck above trying to get under the house of hades and the doors of death. It was full of adventure and definitely a good read.

From what I remember from the previous series, these characters have grown so much. It’s great to see that kids now have books like this one to grow up with—especially with some of the representation in the story! Also, not going to lie, I googled some things during the reading of this book because I wanted to see if some of my theories were correct. Sorry not sorry.

So glad my three favorite heroes, besides Percy and Annabeth, were in this chapter. i'm excited to learn what Arion has to say and what Hazel's challenge will be.

I hope that this books Point of Views are Hazel, Jason, Annabeth and Frank so each of the seven goes twice sometime during the first four books so the last book can have all 7 narrate or at least the characters of the 7 i like (Hazel, Leo, Frank, Percy, Annabeth) I can't imagine not reading Leo' ...more
