This turned out to be an awesome read despite of my being picky as to the story's plot. I admit that I'm not a fan of the whole cyborg imagery and despite that fact I still came to love this book. This truly is a masterpiece worth reading and I can't wait to read the next book. If I'm not rushing into finishing this book, I might have enjoyed it more. Nonetheless, I'm congratulating the author for doing a phenomenal job ;) although it was totally predictable, still... Worth my time ;) ...more

A nice surprise, considering all the positive reviews I was reluctant to pick the novel up, but considering the fact that it wasn't a vampire novel it was a nice reprieve. The heroine had a backbone, the plot was well developed, overall worth the read for those who wish to take a break from the vampire genre. ...more
