THIS WAS ACTUALLY VERY GOOD IN THE END
My oh my, how opinions change!
About halfway through, I thought I might give this book 2 stars, 3 if I was feeling generous, but the 2nd half of the book was excellent! I am pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it in the end. Worthy of a re-read, and I believe I will look back fondly on it, even on the slow parts from the beginning!

I enjoyed a lot while reading The Hobbit. This book explains many important things about the past life of Bilbo Baggins. How does he have the ring? Why are Bilbo and Gandalf like best friend?

Since I watched Lord of the Rings series before this book, there were some gaps in my mind. All these gaps got filled after this book.

I can advise it for all people who watched the Lord of the Rings movies.

For me, It was a first book by J.R.R Tolkien, Reading Hobbit was an amazing journey. First time i read about war,dwarves,dragons . I found it little tough when he started describing the ancestors hierarchy but later on i got the hold . overall it was an astounding read.
