First off, I wish I could give this book about, hmm a billion star rating.
This book was simply beautiful. No other way to possibly describe it.
Perhaps - heavenly, amazing, heartbreakingly moving, magical.
The writing was undoubtedly brilliant. Thankyou Markus Zusak. You're one of few authors who I consider to be remarkably talented.
The story. Jesus, Mary and Joseph. How can I even begin to describe the story?

Breathtaking. Maybe even life-changing. All I know is that I was mindblown. I never really liked historical fiction, but as I read the first paged of the Book Thief, I got hooked. And wow, the entire plot just... wow. It was just so different and so good and sad and awesome and just plain wow.

I heard plenty of people raving about this book, so, being curious, I picked up this book and sat down to read. Was it good? Of course! Is it my favourite book? No.

Markus Zusak certainly has a unique writing style, and it really suits the plot. I would definitely recommend this book!
