Wow. Just wow.

The Last Princess is - as you can most like infer from the title - the Last Princess...of England. Yep, years on from Diana and our very own Princess Kate, the royal family are stuck in a similar situation to the Romanovs and Marie Antoinette and her husband Louis. The people want change, and they believe that the easiest way to do that is to go psycho, burn down villages, kill puppies and also kill off the royal family one by one.

The Last Princess by Galaxy Craze is a new take on the dystopian trend where the protagonist is a part of the ruling class. Eliza is the daughter of the king of England and lives a somewhat privileged life. Life in England changes for the royals and the working class after the seventeen days of terrible natural disasters that almost destroy the earth. Hm... This book is, what's a good word for this book? It's a four star book. I liked it. It was better than okay, and I certainly liked Eliza. I liked her character development, and I liked her relationships with her loved ones and all of her pets. I'm happy with the resolution with her 'revenge' at the end of the book, and I like the ending with the happiness but the threat still hanging in the air. But, I din't like the romance or the setting.
