Loved it! Was fun to read and engaging. Once I started I couldn't put the book down. Can not wait for book two. There were aspects of the story I'd read before but it was still felt new and interesting. Characters were developed nicely and I cared about them. To me the characters really are the most important part of a good book.

Jennifer L. Armentrout's Obsidian is a sexy, unique, and surprising piece of work. Honestly, this book is so hyped up that I thought it would be a let-down--but holy crap, no. NO. Obsidian has a strong female protagonist, an unusual storyline, and well, erm, very sexy descriptions.

I was completely blown away by this book! Once I started I couldnt but it down and right now for me it's been really hard to find this a book that made me fell all over the place. Ok, so the story is basically a romance but at the same time soooo much more. Kat is a new girl in a small town and when she meets her next door neighbors her life would never be the same. Ok so those bits at the end from Daemon's pov? Totally squeal worthy, no point denying it. It was adorable, I mean is it just me or does it seem like his feelings for Kat are actually deeper than hers for him? Honestly he needs to just come out and say that he loves her, most of the time she is on the cusp of falling for him but then he goes and opens his big fat mouth and lets his inner-jerk take over and she's back to hating his guts. I really loved this book. It's a fun book that made me think of Katy Perry's Hot & Cold and ET songs. Katy Schwartz and Daemon Black are so Hot and Cold, Yes then No, In then Out, Up then Down, they will make your head spin. I loved the chemistry between the two main characters and the total denial of the obvious lust that they have for each other. I was ready to self-combust from all the sexual tension between the two of them.

I reread this series for fun this week. Hmm..

WOW!!! Talk about not wanting to put down a book!!!! And every now and then it would border on the cliche' and then pull itself right back from the ledge and go back into being smooth and making me laugh smile and squeal in excitement. LOVED IT. ...more
