After having GRACELING on my bookshelves for over a decade, I knew it was time to check it out. I listened to the audiobook alongside the physical book and wow, what an experience. It's a full cast and they have music that plays on occasion (which, admittedly, made me think of the NANCY DREW audiobooks, lol).

I liked this book so much more than i thought and i didnt want to put it down!
There was such a good balance of romance and adventure/action. I didnt think there would be any romance in it but i thought Kristin really worked that element in well.

I really enjoyed this book. I also loved the idea of people being 'graced' with special abilities & i am looking forward to reading the next 2 books in this series but i do hope there will be more of Katsa & Po in them!!
