I thought this was a cute fluffy, funny read. I didn't like how Maddie felt she needed to hide who she really was, but at the same time, I guess peer pressure can do that and worse to a kid, so I cut her some slack. I smiled thru most of this book, and wanted to read more about Dan. I loved the idea of the comic books store, since its been yrs since I've been in one. As soon as I saw this book I knew I was going to love it. I mean, what's not to love? I'm so glad it lived up my gigantic expectations.
Why I'm Glad:
Because it's cute. I was terrified that the characters were going to be carbon copies of every other contemporary YA novel I've read--but they weren't. Especially not Logan and Dan. (Logan's attempts to win Maddie kind of reminded me of the final half of You've Got Mail. Major win since that's the best romantic comedy.) Logan was neither the egotist ...more
