Bu kitap 500 küsür sayfadan sadece 100 sayfalık kısmı okurken heyecanlandıran ,geri kalanında gözlerinizi yuvarlamaktan şaşı bırakan tarzda.
Neden soğudum bu kadar bilmiyorum ,belkide yayınevi kitabı amerika çıkış tarihinden yaklaşık 1 sene sonra çevirip piyasaya sürdüğü ve antipatimi topladığı içindir. Bu yüzden kitaba karşıda acımasızımdır , ama belkide sadece clary ve üstün zekasından nefret ettiğimd ...more

CITY OF SEXY SHADOWHUNTERS....

City of Lost Souls, the Fifth book in The Mortal Instruments Series was incredible. There was plenty of action, romance and intense jaw-dropping moments that kept me glued to the story. This installment for me was a huge improvement from City of Fallen Angels. There was not a moment where I was not glued to the pages of this book. I loved it.

City of Lost Souls, the Fifth book in The Mortal Instruments Series was incredible. There was plenty of action, romance and intense jaw-dropping moments that kept me glued to the story. This installment for me was a huge improvement from City of Fallen Angels. There was not a moment where I was not glued to the pages of this book. I loved it.

What I loved most of all about this book is that we get to know Sebastian (Jonathan Morganstern) a little more. He was always sort of a mystery and all you really knew about him was that he was Clary's evil brother. He is entertaining, funny and also a terrifying character and I can't wait for more of this guy. The whole time I was wondering whether Clary was going to give up everything to be with her brother and Jace; you just did not know what to expect would happen next. He seemed to almost genuinely care for Clary and part of me really wanted them to bond as brother and sister. However, his intentions towards Clary became shocking; one that I thought was surprising and very unexpected. This guy is truly evil.

The Romance in this book is HUGE between Clary and Jace. We get a lot of really wonderful, hot and sexy moments between them while Jace is not really Jace and when he is himself again. Their love story is written beautifully and there is nothing that either one of them would not do for the other.

Clary is amazing in this book, she is very brave and loyal to her friends when it could have been very easy to turn her back on what she knows is the right thing to do just to be with the one she loves.

Simon and Clary's friendship was perfect. They adore each other and protect each other. I loved how close their bond is and that Simon would do absolutely anything to protect her and make her happy. Simon was extremely brave and risked everything including his life for Clary and their friends to help her get Jace back.

As usual, Magnus was fantastically peculiar and as always, hilarious. Who would not want Magnus as their gay BFF? I enjoy every delicious moment we get of Magnus. I was very happy that he played a huge role in this installment and we get a lot of everyone's favorite eccentric warlock. He is still with Alec however, their relationship is on rocky terrain. Alec is a bit of an insecure idiot and makes a HUGE mistake that could cost him everything.

Isabelle is dealing with missing and worrying about Jace and her feelings for Simon. She and Simon grow closer and I for one, love them together.

City of Lost Souls was an engaging and captivating read and kept me enthralled until the very last sentence. ...more

Great!!!! It started off really slow and I didn't like it too much. I thought that it would just be one of those boring books about people's relationships. Clary and Jace did get me a bit irritated, though.

In the last two hundred or so pages, the book really picked up and by the end, I really liked it!!!!

Looking forward to reading the City of Heavenly Fire!!!!! :D ...more
