I'm glad that this series is going to be the movie! Yay! It change the name to 'Blood Sister' The casting for Rose is Perfect! I like Rose. She is kick-ass. The suspense in this book is enjoyable, but maybe I read Romantic Suspense books too much so that I can guess who is the person who set up the bad stuff! See. My. Fault. lol!

Im pinning for this novel for months, whether read it or not. I should have read this before!

Vampire Academy is about:
- a school of Moroi (Royal vampires) and their future Dhamphir (Half-vampire,half-human)
- Kick-ass heroines who can kill you with stake.
- RUSSIAN DHAMPHIRS like Dimitri Belikov, am i the only one who didn't like him that much?

What did i like:

No worries. "Just" 3*, but i really liked it. I just feel that this book was rather an introduction to the whole series and had a lot of explanation involved (not that i did not need that ;)) and therefore a bit less action.

If you asked me what Vampire Academy is about, I'm not sure I could give you a straight answer. Most of the book is really rushed, and then BAM! We're almost at the end of it when everything slows down and gets good. But those 300 pages before it? Not a clue. This could possibly be the reason why I'm giving the book such an average rating or maybe it's because of the lack of information on Rose and her life. Either way, Vampire Academy is an average read.

What I loved: I love how much girl power is coming back! Its a good feeling!

I loved Dimitri Belikov, specially his taste in 80's music and just his personality in general. I'm with Rose, Swoon city!

Mason- Oh, I feel another crush coming on!

The movie- yeah, there was some hits and misses and not very clear parts-But hey, still a good movie!

It took me six days to finish this book, which is my new record-so either A.) I have no life or B.) It was REALLY GOOD

Dimitri Belikov (sigh). Love a Russsian badass. Great series by the legendary Richelle Mead.
I read the series of six in about three days. YA but adult enough to keep me interested.
