No matter how many times I read this book, the story does not get old. It's the literary equivalent of macaroni cheese- complete comfort food for the soul.
Although the classic dual love stories of Lizzie-Darcy & Jane-Bingley are partially responsible for this; it is Austen's wit, attention to detail and superb characterization of her lesser characters that make this a timeless classic.
