I read some of the reviews of this novel before I started it. I wasn't sure I wanted to read it. Most of the complaints of this book was that the language was too simple, the book itself was boring, and there is a general dislike for the narrator. I started it anyway. The narrator I didn't mind, neither liked or disliked. I thought the story was fabulous, in no way boring. A pure and simple love story.
