I liked this book. I read it after having seen an excellent theatre production so I already knew the story but I enjoyed the reading of it. Christopher becomes so understandable in his own words but equally his parents frustration is also well portrayed. Very subtle and clever and ultimately positive.

I really, really wanted to like this book because it was highly recommended to me by two people but I found it difficult to keep my mind focused on it. The concept of the story was good but I just felt like it was dragged out and I ended up dreading all the extra information, which I suppose was needed in order to show how Christopher's mind worked. I felt like the ending was rushed and a bit like the author just thought 'oh, I've had enough now, I better just find a way to end it'. It wasn't al
