I truly enjoyed this book. Just the first few pages will draw you in. I'm one of those people that liked most of the assigned reading in high school. But don't let that turn you off of my taste. Unfortunately, this one wasn't assigned in my class (though I know that it was for a lot of my friends). This book is interesting in its own right. It reads like an engaging sci-fi novel and it's hard to imagine, sometimes, that it was written in 1931!

I remember loving this book when I was younger. I found a copy of it for $3.99 the other day and purchased it. Normally, I can read through books like this in a sitting or two but it took me a week to finish. The ideas are interesting, but not unique or original. The characters are cliche and boring. I never felt attached to any of them. Part of me thinks Huxley did this intentionally considering the nature of the book. But, who would intentionally make a dull book? It's a mockery to compare thi
