Horrific. Upsetting. Absolute classic.

I noticed a free edition of this was about expire on Audible, and I'd promised myself I'd reread it, as I haven't looked at it since around 1999, and couldn't remember it as well as I'd have liked.

So a few days later and I've now got fresh mental images of this awfully familiar and terrible society stuck in my mind.

Am I the only person to have liked a book that is required in school? Brave New World was one of my GCSE texts (the 20th Century novel). Set in the future where the culture worships Henry Ford, as the creator of mass production, even the people are mass produced. Our view of the society is coloured from two view points: a man who is shorter than his caste, so is a misfit; a man who was born naturally and grew up on a reservation.
