Usually I read a book before I see a movie, but I was initially put off by this book by the hype surrounding it. After seeing the film, I was intrigued with the duality of the story and read the book searching for clues. I don't have the answers, but it's a good story.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I almost want to start reading it again right now. Yann Martel easily made me feel like I was in the boat with Pi, which just made the book all that much better. I recommend this to everyone and anyone.

Tedious. Dull. Boring. Why is this book so popular? It was a complete and utter waste of paper.
A beautiful, inspiring novel. Its poetic message won't leave you anytime soon.
