The writing is quite dramatic, the way Anne expresses herself is quite unique and humorous. The character development of Anne and Marilla as she grows older is very well documented.
I just don’t think I am the target audience for this book. Too sweet.
I feel this book wrapped up nicely in the end no cliff hangers, and I don’t really feel the need to continue this series.

Don’t remember my first read of this but I was delighted by the writing in this go round. Not just a good yarn and a charming Anne but also some lovely writing.
